Hand-woven rope on a rust-proof aluminium frame, with a matching privacy screen for open terraces.
Built for open terraces where metal has to survive salt air and constant sun. The frame is powder-coated aluminium rather than steel, so nothing bleeds rust onto pale stone, and the rope is UV-stabilised HDPE woven by hand over an inner core. The matching screen turns an exposed poolside slab into a sheltered outdoor room without blocking the breeze.
The AL-SF-5101 measures 195 × 77 × 73 cm overall. Key figures: 3-seater size 195 × 77 × 73 cm, armchair size 93 × 77 × 73 cm, corner unit 182 × 77 × 73 cm, chaise unit 178 × 118 × 73 cm, shipped 1 set / 3 cartons at a net weight of 46 kg. Small changes to any of these numbers can be quoted from a drawing, so a project does not have to be built around whatever a catalogue happened to list.
Aluminium is the material for projects where maintenance is the deciding factor. A powder-coated sofa frame does not need oiling, will not crack in a dry season and cannot rot, so a hotel can leave the same seating on an exposed pool deck for years without a maintenance schedule. The frames are welded and powder-coated in-house, then hand-woven with UV-stabilised HDPE rope or flat strap so they read as furniture rather than as metal tubing.
The questions buyers ask about aluminium seating are always the same: does the coating flake, does the weave sag, and does it get hot. All three come down to specification. We chromate pre-treat before powder coating so the finish keys into the metal chemically rather than sitting on the surface, we jig-weld 1.5–2.0 mm wall tube so the weave cannot pull the frame out of square, and we keep the load-bearing surfaces woven or cushioned rather than solid metal so guests are not touching a hot panel at midday.
Where buyers are putting the AL-SF-5101 to work.
Zero maintenance and no timber to oil, on the surface that gets the most sun and chlorine on the property.
Salt air attacks steel and untreated metal. Powder-coated aluminium with stainless fixings handles spray without rust streaks on pale decking.
Light enough for one member of staff to reset the layout after an event, without the floor-loading questions a heavy timber set raises.
Bulk orders for developer handover where each unit gets the same set and nobody wants a maintenance call-back.

Material: Powder-coated aluminium frame (1.5–2.0 mm wall thickness), hand-woven UV-stabilised HDPE rope, reticulated quick-dry foam cushions in solution-dyed acrylic.
Every AL-SF-5101 is cut, welded, chromate pre-treated and powder-coated on PatioHue Outdoor's own line in Foshan, and the rope or strap is woven by hand in the same building. Nothing is subcontracted when volumes get tight — which is why a repeat frame two years later still matches the first one.
Chemical keying before powder coating — this is what stops the finish flaking at weld edges in year three.
Contract-grade wall thickness, jig-welded and kept square, so the weave cannot work loose around the frame.
Roughly a third of the weight of a teak equivalent, foam-wrapped with corner protection in drop-tested cartons.
Custom powder colour from a single RAL number, with a repeat order that matches years later.
Wash with fresh water and a mild pH-neutral soap a few times a season — no polish, oil or sealer is required and none should be applied. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning in coastal or chlorinated environments. For scuff marks on the powder coating, a non-abrasive cream cleaner on a soft cloth usually lifts them without dulling the finish; do not use wire wool or aggressive solvents.
Size, finish, fabric, cushion density can all be adjusted on the AL-SF-5101, and we accept drawings or reference photographs. PatioHue Outdoor builds in-house, so confirming a change takes a workshop decision rather than a chain of suppliers. Private-label cartons, instruction sheets and logo application are available from the stated MOQ.
Ships 1 set / 3 cartons, net weight 46 kg. Standard production runs 25–35 days after deposit depending on quantity and finish, with FOB Shenzhen or Nansha loading. We issue a carton-by-carton loading plan before every shipment so you can book freight against real numbers.
If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp — we answer technical questions directly from the workshop.
Barefoot Aluminium Rope Sofa & Screen Set measures 195 × 77 × 73 cm overall; the full specification runs 3-seater size 195 × 77 × 73 cm, armchair size 93 × 77 × 73 cm, corner unit 182 × 77 × 73 cm, chaise unit 178 × 118 × 73 cm. Net weight is 46 kg and it ships 1 set / 3 cartons. If you need dimensions outside this range, we quote custom sizes from drawings.
MOQ is 5 sets. Mixed containers are fine — you can combine models across our aluminium sofa sets range, and we will prepare one loading plan for the whole shipment. Sample orders below MOQ are possible at a small premium.
Yes. Size, finish, fabric and cushion density can all be adjusted, and we accept drawings or reference photos. We can add your logo, produce private-label cartons and documentation. PatioHue Outdoor is the factory, so you are specifying directly with the people who build it.
Not with the specification used on the AL-SF-5101. The frame is degreased and chromate pre-treated before the powder is applied and cured, so the coating keys into the metal chemically rather than sitting on it. That is the difference between a finish that survives scratch-and-salt exposure for years and one that starts lifting at the weld edges after a couple of seasons.
Bare aluminium does absorb heat, which is why specification matters. On the AL-SF-5101 the load-bearing surfaces are either woven rope, flat strap or a cushion, and the spacing is kept open so air moves through and the frame cools. Timber and stone tops stay cooler still, and those are available across the range.
Roughly a third of the weight for the same section — this AL-SF-5101 is 46 kg. That makes repositioning a one-person job and cuts freight per seat, but it also means wind becomes the consideration on exposed rooftops and seafront decks. Tell us the location and we will say plainly whether ballast is needed.
Yes, provided the wall thickness and joints are specified for it. We use 1.5–2.0 mm wall tube and stainless 304 fixings on frames rated for commercial service, and the AL-SF-5101 is built to that standard rather than to retail tolerances. Static load figures can be supplied in writing for your operator or insurance file.
Tell us the quantity, destination port and finish you need. We reply with price, lead time and a loading plan — usually within 12 hours.
